Viva Italia at Vilnius Town Hall! One of Italy’s most renowned piano duos, Ammara–Prosseda, has been captivating audiences in prestigious concert halls around the world for more than two decades. Both artists enjoy distinguished international solo careers and, since 1999, have also created exceptional performances as a piano duo, earning acclaim from critics and audiences alike.

The audience of the International M. K. Čiurlionis Music Festival will have a unique opportunity to hear the two artists not only as a piano duo, but also as soloists. The programme brings together Alfredo Casella’s dramatic War Pages, Franz Schubert’s poetic Impromptus, Fryderyk Chopin’s virtuosic Études, and one of the great masterpieces of piano ensemble repertoire – Schubert’s Fantasy in F minor for piano four hands.
